Saraswati Puja

Saraswati Puja is our gentlest, most child-centred festival — a morning of yellow clothes, flowers and books placed at the feet of the goddess of learning.

What the day looks like

• Pushpanjali in the morning for all age groups
• Hathe-khori — the first writing ceremony for little children
• Khichuri bhog and labra served after the anjali
• Recitation, drawing and music for the children

Parents who would like their child's hathe-khori performed can let us know in advance so we can prepare.
