Yearly Picnic

Our yearly picnic has no fixed date — it usually happens sometime near Christmas, when the Hyderabad winter is at its kindest. Families travel out of the city together for a full day in the open.

What the day looks like

• Day-long outing at a garden or farmhouse outside Hyderabad
• Games and races for children and grown-ups alike
• Home-style Bengali cooking prepared on site
• Antakshari, adda and music through the afternoon

Taking part

Seats and transport are arranged in advance, so families are asked to confirm their numbers when the picnic is announced.
