Refund Policy
Community contributions
Oikotan – The Culture of Bengal is a volunteer-run community organization. Contributions received towards festivals, picnics, donation drives or cultural programmes are used to organize the event for the benefit of the community. General donations are normally not refundable.
Event registrations and stalls
If a paid registration, stall booking or ticket is introduced for an event, the specific refund or cancellation terms for that event will be announced at the time of booking. Please keep the reference or receipt shared by the organizing team for any future queries.
Cancelled or rescheduled events
If an event is cancelled or significantly rescheduled by the organizing committee, paid participants will be informed about the available options — which may include a refund, credit towards a future event, or donation to the community fund — as decided by the committee for that specific occasion.
